Here at Papillon Interiors we are very lucky to work with so many fantastic brands, today I would like to shine a light on to Normann Copenhagen. Their furniture designs are some of my personal favourite when it comes to Home Furniture.
Normann Copenhagen are a Danish company which state their mission to create innovative, original products in a simple and contemporary design.
They were established in 1999 by Designers Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen, their designs showcased in a ever growing collection of lighting, furniture, home accessories and textiles. With a ever growing collection of design awards to add to their portfolio.
The Form range are some of my favourite Normann Copenhagen designs.
The Form Dining Table and Chairs a truly stylish, sleek and elegant whilst remaining modern but still with a warm homely touch. The combination of Linoleum with Oak on the Table and the Polypropylene and Oak or Walnut base on the Chairs offers the warmth of wood with durability and sleek finish for the upper of both the Table and Chairs.
This set up together really makes a beautiful simplistic and yet eye catching statement to any space.
-There are two options for the Form Table; the rectangular 950 x 2000 design (as shown above) and the smaller square version; 1200 x 1200. (Which can be found here)
Offering the two different sizes of the Form Table allows you the opportunity to create a classic and unique contemporary décor with the space you have in mind.
Normann Copenhagen also have a beautiful array of lighting two great Examples of these are the "Bell Lamp" Pendant and the "Amp Lamp" pendant lights
Normann Copenhagen Amp Lamp
Designed by Simon Legald.
The Amp range is a small collection of lamps inspired by the old fashioned Tube Amplifiers that were used in the 60's. The distinctive mixture of glass and marble partnered with the Amp unique shape create not only a nostalgic feel but also a very bold and contemporary feel to these pendants.
The Amp collection offer a comfortable and attractive light which with its sleek design make it adaptable to any environment be it in the corner of the living room, a single pendant in the hall or a beautiful array of lamps across a dining table to give that modern and stylish effect.
Normann Copenhagen Bell Lamp
Design: Andreas Lund & Jacob Rudbeck
The Bell Lamp is a simple and robust pendant with a strangely soft yet industrial feel to it. Making it a great fit for both home and workplace.
The Bell Lamp fits beautifully in virtually any space, the kitchen, living room, bedroom, hallway and office environment. They work great as a stand alone or even a mix of sizes in a cluster, this will achieve a dramatic visual effect. The large Bell can look great over the dinner table, or hang the small ones in pairs in the kitchen. The Bell lamp will adorn any room in the house.
