Spring is just around the corner, guys, and with this Vitra have just released a special edition of the Panton chair in new, vibrant summer colours. But do note, the Special Edition Pantons are only available from March until the end of July!
The Panton chair was designed by Verner Panton and one of his primary goals was to create a plastic chair as an inexpensive industrial product. We believe he achieved just that. Panton held the view that you sit and feel more comfortable on a chair in a colour you love. This is why he chose such vibrant colours for the original chairs.
The Panton chair is now available in ‘Summer Green’. The yellow shades of the summer green Panton compliments the green glow of your garden, whilst also attracting the eyes of guests in any room. It creates a rejuvenating contrast.
The Panton Junior also comes as a special edition chair in two new colours so that the kids, too, can enjoy this classic outdoors in a friendly ‘Citron’ and lively ‘Aqua Turquoise’.
For outdoor use, special additives have been added to prevent colours from fading due to UV radiation.
