Named after the soft shape of traditional Mongolian Pao tents, the Pao collection by HAY, designed by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, encapsulates atmospheric warmth and friendliness, just like the tents. The design creates an everyday object that draws on naturalistic design values, keeping the aesthetics both modest and simple. The light source can be concealed from view within the shade, which is closed off with high-quality Acrylic (PMMA) diffuser, resulting in a clean and simple design.
