Designed by Iskos Berlin, the Soft Edge series by HAY blends strong curves with extreme lightness to create a 3D aesthetic, not normally achieved with 2D plywood. Soft Edge results in a minimalistic design optimising comfort. Soft Edge 100 Lounge features similarities in the seat contouring, to resemble the rest of the Soft Edge family, however exerts a lower and wider design more aimed towards the lounging and relaxing end of the chair spectrum.
