Vitra Eames RAR Rocking Chair by Charles & Ray Eames
The Eames RAR Plastic Rocking Chair was first presented as part of the famed New York Museum of Modern Art competition, "Low Cost Furniture Design". Their organically shaped seat shells made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic were later combined with various different bases, such as RAR's rockers and manufactured in their millions.
In this latest version, made of polypropylene, the RAR Rocking Chair now offers even greater sitting comfort. Such is the comfort of this iconic design it can be used in a variety of places including nurseries, bedrooms, living areas and more.
